<p>The MIDI Tape Recorder is an exceptional Audio Unit v3 plugin that revolutionizes the way MIDI recording is executed. Unlike most modern DAWs that alter the timing of MIDI messages to facilitate editing, this open-source plugin preserves the precise timing and accuracy of MIDI recordings, akin to audio recordings.</p>

<p>With MIDI Tape Recorder, your performances are faithfully captured, accentuating every subtle nuance. The focus is on maintaining the integrity of your performance, eschewing MIDI note editing, quantization, and individual CC tweaking. Instead, it excels at effortlessly storing and reproducing rich and expressive MIDI streams, particularly with MPE controllers and MPE MIDI plugins.</p>

<p>The controls of the plugin have been purposefully designed to mimic a traditional four-track audio recorder, ensuring an intuitive and enjoyable experience when recording, playing back, and looping your MIDI performances. Even without MPE MIDI, MIDI Tape Recorder facilitates uninterrupted creativity, allowing you to remain in the flow without being encumbered by the technical aspects often present in DAWs.</p>

<p>MIDI Tape Recorder is reliant on an AUv3 host to function and produces no sound on its own.</p>
